This special appreciation day offers a rare opportunity to explore this historic vessel, learn about Canada's naval heritage, and pay tribute to those who served during the Battle of the Atlantic.

Plan your day aboard the historic vessel

8:00 AM

Gates Open

Registration and welcome aboard. Pick up your commemorative event badge and program guide.

9:00 AM

Opening Ceremony

Official welcome address and flag ceremony honoring our naval veterans.

10:00 AM

Guided Tours Begin

Expert-led tours throughout the day. Explore the bridge, engine room, mess deck, and crew quarters.

12:00 PM

Lunch Service

Complimentary lunch provided on the pier. Enjoy naval-themed refreshments and connect with fellow history enthusiasts.

2:00 PM

Living History Demonstrations

Period reenactors demonstrate life aboard a WWII corvette. Interactive displays and storytelling.

4:00 PM

Photo Sessions

Special photo opportunities on deck. Capture your visit with the beautiful Halifax Harbour as backdrop.

6:00 PM

Sunset Viewing

Watch the sun set over the harbour from the deck. Light refreshments served.

Closing

By Transit: Halifax Transit routes 1, 3, 7, and 9 stop nearby at the Barrington Street terminal.

By Car: Parking available at the Halifax waterfront parking lots. Look for signage to Sackville Landing.
